Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Alana Lou Productions LLC ("Alana Lou Productions," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through alanalouproductions.cloud (the "Site") and when you place an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with our business, how we use that information, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and mailing/shipping address, when you submit our contact form, place an order, or otherwise reach out to us.
- Order and service information: details about the custom art, decor, apparel, photography session, or bulk order you're requesting, including any photos, images, or reference material you provide us so we can create your custom piece.
- Payment-related information: when you check out, payment is processed by PayPal. We do not collect or store your full card number, PayPal password, or other sensitive payment credentials on our own systems — see "Payment Information" below.
- Communications: anything you send us by email, phone, or through the contact form, including any attachments.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, and general usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies when you browse the Site. See our Cookie Notice for details.
- Analytics information: aggregated, non-identifying data about how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page, general location at the city/region level), which helps us understand what's working and what isn't.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, produce, and fulfill the custom art, decor, apparel, photography, and bulk orders you request;
- Communicate with you about your order, inquiry, or upcoming photography session;
- Process payment through our third-party payment processor;
- Respond to questions, requests, and customer service needs;
- Improve the Site, our offerings, and the overall customer experience;
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the photos you send us for any purpose beyond creating your order unless you separately give us permission (for example, if you'd like us to feature your piece in our portfolio or on social media — we'll always ask first).
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the business — for example, our payment processor (PayPal), printing or production partners who physically produce certain custom items, and shipping carriers, solely as needed to fulfill your order;
- Legal and safety purposes: if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Alana Lou Productions, our customers, or others.
4. Payment Information
All payments made through the Site are processed by PayPal. When you pay, you are providing your payment details directly to PayPal under PayPal's own privacy policy and terms — we do not receive or store your full card or bank account numbers. We do receive confirmation that a payment was made, along with the transaction amount, so we can process your order.
5. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality (like remembering items in your cart) and to understand how the Site is used. Full details, including the categories of cookies we use and how to control them, are available in our Cookie Notice.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including completing your order, responding to your inquiry, and meeting our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Reference photos and order files are generally kept for a reasonable period after an order is completed in case you need reprints or follow-up work, and are deleted or securely archived thereafter unless you ask us to keep or delete them sooner.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below — we will respond as soon as we're able.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you; to request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions, such as information we need to complete an order or comply with the law); and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Alana Lou Productions LLC does not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, contact us at the email below.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
